What is Tiles Survive?

Tiles Survive! is a free-to-play survival strategy game from FunPlus where you guide a group of survivors through a post-apocalyptic wilderness overrun by infected zombies. The world is built on tiles — each one you uncover reveals resources, threats, blueprints, or encounters. Core gameplay blends tile-based exploration, shelter management, resource production, and hero recruitment.

The tile exploration mechanic is the standout. Instead of a static map, you expand your territory tile by tile, clearing fog to reveal new biomes — forests, ruins, frozen wasteland, infected zones. Each tile presents a choice: harvest resources, fight hostiles, rescue survivors, or discover doomsday wonders. The exploration loop keeps the game from feeling like a pure base-builder.

Shelter management runs deep. You build and upgrade structures — power plants, houses, workshops, kitchens — and assign survivors to jobs based on their skills. Survivor morale and health affect productivity. The power plant is your backbone: electricity connects buildings and accelerates workflows. Managing the energy grid while expanding your territory creates a real resource tension.

Your guide is Sarge, a former Army Special Forces officer who leads the initial survivor group. Hero recruitment adds combat-capable characters with unique skills for tile exploration and alliance warfare. The alliance system lets you cooperate with other players against common threats — severe weather, zombie hordes, and rival shelters.
