What is Hero Wars?

Hero Wars is a free-to-play fantasy RPG by Nexters where you collect heroes, build 5-hero teams, and battle through PvE campaigns and PvP arenas. Combat is automated — your job is team composition, upgrade priority, and timing ultimate abilities. The game exists in two versions: Hero Wars: Alliance (mobile) and Hero Wars: Dominion Era (browser/Facebook), each with 80+ heroes.

The depth sits in faction synergies. Six factions — Chaos, Eternity, Honor, Mystery, Nature, and Progress — each grant stacking bonuses when you team heroes from the same group. A well-synergized 5-hero team from one faction routinely beats a team with 30% more raw power but no synergy.

You start with a handful of heroes and unlock more through campaign progression, hero chests, and event rewards. Each hero has 4 active skills, skins that boost specific stats, glyphs, and a class system. Maxing a single hero takes weeks — choosing who to invest in first is the most impactful decision in the early game.

The first 5-7 days are tutorial-paced. You'll clear campaign chapters, unlock Arena, and join your first Guild. The daily loop stabilizes around day 10: clear Tower, spend Arena attempts, farm hero soul stones, repeat. Short sessions — 15-20 minutes twice a day covers everything.
