What is Dark Genesis?

Dark Genesis is a free-to-play browser-based idle MMORPG from Esprit Games where you summon and collect heroes drawn from world mythology. Your roster pulls from Greek, Norse, Egyptian, Hindu, and Asian pantheons — Loki, Shiva, Anubis, and dozens more — each with unique skills and combat roles. You form a party and send them through auto-combat stages that continue running even when you're away.

The combat system is the best part. Heroes fight in real-time on-screen, and while battles auto-resolve, you can manually trigger ultimate abilities for burst damage. Party placement matters: tanks and melee fighters go front, mages and ranged units stay behind. Building synergized teams from different mythological traditions is the strategic core.

Your base is a floating sky castle that unlocks new features as you level — new buildings, upgrade stations, and progression systems. The upgrade path is streamlined: level heroes in increments of 5, enhance equipment in a few clicks, and ascend characters through a clear progression ladder.

The tutorial is long but thorough, walking you through summoning, combat, placement, upgrades, and castle management. By day 2-3, the daily loop is established: collect idle rewards, push campaign stages, do arena fights, upgrade heroes, close the tab.
