Satisfactory is a first-person, open-world factory-building game by Coffee Stain Studios. You play a FICSIT pioneer dropped onto an uncharted alien planet with one job: harvest its resources and feed an ever-growing industrial machine. You begin by mining iron and limestone by hand, then automate every step — smelting, crafting, transporting — until raw ore flows into finished parts without you lifting a finger.

What sets it apart is the freedom of building in full 3D. Conveyor belts snake up cliffs, pipelines carry fluids across valleys, and power lines tie everything into a grid you have to keep balanced. The world is hand-crafted and genuinely beautiful, with biomes ranging from grasslands and forests to caves, deserts, and spire-covered plateaus — plus aggressive local wildlife to deal with as you explore.

Progression runs through the Space Elevator and a milestone tech tree that gradually unlocks trucks, trains, hypertubes, drones, blueprints, and nuclear power. The 1.0 release added a proper story thread narrated by the witty AI assistant ADA, an endgame, and countless quality-of-life systems. It's a game about solving logistics puzzles you set for yourself, and the 'just one more factory' loop is famously hard to put down.
