Monster Hunter Wilds is Capcom's open-world hunting action RPG, set in the Forbidden Lands — a sprawling, seamless wilderness where seasons and sudden weather events reshape the landscape. As a hunter, you investigate the ecosystem, track giant monsters to their lairs, and take them down in tense, skill-driven battles before crafting gear from what you carve.

All 14 series weapon types return, each with its own deep moveset, and the new Seikret mount lets you traverse the map and switch between two equipped weapons mid-hunt. A focus mode highlights monster wounds so you can land focus strikes for extra damage, while dynamic herds, environmental traps and day-night cycles keep every hunt feeling alive.
